Diary Helps Children Cope with Asthma

Asthma DiaryThe Pennsylvania Medical Society’s Center for Professional Drug Education offers a free Asthma Diary for Children at no charge.

The brochure-sized diary helps physicians and parents communicate with children about when to use their asthma medications, provides a place to record peak flow readings twice daily, and helps children identify feelings and discuss exposure to allergens.

To request a diary, call (800) 228-7823, ext. 2644.
